Summer Afternoons

Lazy summer afternoons are lovely. I love taking random pictures on the porch, with the perfect lighting and all of the animals of the house lounging around on it, it is perfect. We have a new addition to the family though, Jane the kitty. Our outdoor cat Chatty had another litter of kittens a couple months ago, and Jane was the only kitten bold enough to come close to one of us. I adopted her as my own, and now she is my little cuddle buddy.

This weekend we will be getting another addition to our family, a golden retriever puppy. We haven't decided on a name yet, but we are all very excited to meet him!
